Brugge Photo Tour - Page 2


This town is a reachable from either Paris or Amsterdam via train. I took the Thalys (High speed train) from Paris to Brussels and a "local" to Brugge.

I stayed at the Hansa hotel, a very nice room at a reasonable rate just two blocks from the main square. They also offer reasonably priced parking and a high speed Internet connection in the lobby for guests.

A popular saying (during tourist season at least) is that one day here is not enough and three too many. This is a great place from which to start a driving excursion to Amsterdam via Ghent and Zeeland, the islands of southwestern Holland.

In addition to the world famous beer you might try french fries with mayonnaise (they think ketchup is a very strange condiment for fries) and of course, Belgian waffles
